Eksplorasi Pengalaman Siswa dan Guru dalam Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Inkuiri pada Pembelajaran IPS di Kurikulum Merdeka

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman siswa dan guru dalam
penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial
(IPS) di kelas 9 SMP N 10 Semarang yang menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk
memahami pengalaman subjektif peserta didik dan guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui
wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa metode pembelajaran inkuiri mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa,
mendorong kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep IPS.
Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan kesiapan guru dalam
mengelola pembelajaran inkuiri. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan
berkelanjutan bagi guru dan penyesuaian waktu pembelajaran agar metode inkuiri dapat
diimplementasikan secara optimal dalam Kurikulum Merdeka.
