Editorial policies

I. Originality, authorship, and copyright

Research articles written in Indonesian or English submitted for publication must be previously unpublished and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The submission and arrangement of authors' names on the title page requires unanimous consent from all authors. In addition, they must agree to the possibility of each author representing them during editorial review and publication. This consent must be obtained by the relevant author.

After submission, requests for modification of the order of authors' names, their addition, or their deletion must be supported by a written statement of consent from everyone. The Journal Publishing Agreement must be signed by the authors and sent to the editorial email (lp2mstitalabuhanbatu@gmail.com) to safeguard and protect the ownership and rights of the publisher and the original authors from misuse of the published work.

II. Permission

It is the author's responsibility to request permission to use any copyrighted graphics, data or text in their submitted Articles. Authors should be aware that publishing portions of text from published or copyrighted works longer than 250 words will require permission from the original publisher. Manuscripts must be submitted with an official letter of permission.

III. Editorial review and revision

At least two anonymous reviewers who have been selected for their expertise in subjects related to the article content will read each manuscript critically. The suitability of the journal for the work and its scientific value will determine whether it is accepted. The original version of the manuscript may be approved, or amended.

Authors will be given the opportunity to revise the article after feedback from reviewers (and editors). For a maximum of two weeks, authors can keep manuscripts that have been returned to them for editing.

IV. Proofs

Authors of accepted articles will receive proofs in the form of LoA (in PDF format) via email for copy correction. The main content of the current article cannot be updated. The entire manuscript, not just the part in question must be checked by the author, including all tables, figures, and cited references. To expedite publication, these proofs must be corrected and sent to the editorial office within 48 hours of receipt via email. Only one set of corrections will be taken into account. In other words, it is very important to ensure that you provide us with all your edits in one email.

V. Author Fees

Manuscript Submission Fees. There is no submission fee for Tarbiyah bil Qalam (TbQ) Journal. In other words, whether a work is accepted or rejected does not depend on the submission process. Article editing is also free in Tabiyah bil Qalam Journal. Therefore, the journal is responsible for covering the costs associated with editing and reviewing manuscripts.
