Publication Ethnics

Tarbiyah bil Qalam (TbQ) is a journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Al Bukhary (STITA) Labuhanbatu, North Sumatera, Indonesia and managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service, the journal is available in print and online with two editions published a year, namely edition one published January-June and Edition two published July-December. TBQ Journal publishes research that discusses education, religion and science. This scientific code of ethics statement is a statement of the code of ethics of all parties involved in the publication process of the scientific journal, namely managers, editors, Bestari partner, reviewers and authors.

Duties for Authors

  1. Ensure that those included in the list of authors can meet the criteria as authors
  2. Present research papers accurately and objectively
  3. Ensure that the writing is original work
  4. Must not publish the same paper in more than one journal
  5. Authors are people who have actually made significant contributions to the results of the paper. All those who have made significant contributions are listed as co-authors.
  6. If the author finds errors in the submitted manuscript, the author must pay attention to the suggestions and feedback from the journal reviewers and work together to improve the writing.

Duties for the Editors

  1. Responsible for publishing and deciding which articles to publish from the articles received.
  2. Evaluation of manuscripts based on the provisions that have been set
  3. Encourage authors, so that they can make improvements to their papers so that they are worthy of publication actively in contribution to developing the quality of the journal Maintain confidentiality regarding information about manuscripts that have been submitted by authors

Duties for Reviewers

  1. Reviewing of submitted manuscripts must be carried out objectively and reviewers must express their views with clear and supporting arguments confidential information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain.
  2. Ensuring the article manuscripts based on focus and scope of the journal and check the methodology, novelty and reference
  3. Making assesment the quality of article manuscripts based on author guidline and template of journal
  4. Providing the advice and suggestion to the article author
  5. Checking out the article from plagiarism and ethic violations
  6. giving the last recommendation to the author
