Implementasi Program Madrasah Hifdzil Qur’an (Mhq) Dalam Meningkatkan Hafalan Al-Qur’an Santri Di Pondok Pesantren Putri Walisongo Jombang

This study discusses the implementation of the Madrasah Hifzil Qur'an (MHQ) program at the Walisongo Jombang Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of the MHQ program is carried out practically in the field, the role of educators in assisting the Qur'an memorization process, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors experienced by students in memorizing the Qur'an. In addition, this study also aims to identify monitoring and evaluation strategies implemented by the pesantren in maintaining the quality of students' memorization. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which focuses on the subjective experiences of students and ustadz/ustadzah as the main participants. Researchers approached the data by directly seeing, hearing, and understanding the dynamics of the implementation of the MHQ program. The results of this study show that the role of ustadz/ustadzah is very crucial, especially in the process of monitoring memorization through checking attendance, group and individual murojaah, and monthly evaluations. The MHQ program provides freedom of memorization methods to students, so that they can adjust memorization strategies to their respective abilities. This study also reveals the existence of internal factors such as self-motivation and external factors such as environmental support, which affect the success of students' Qur'an memorization.
